I am lazy, yet quick witted. Could usually care less about the problems of the world, but probably one of the first to volunteer to help. I still aspire to be a figure skater.

Halloween part 1

Sarah asked what I had planned for halloween. I don't really know yet. I reeeeeeeeeeally want to go trick-or-treating but I probably wont be able to get anyone to go with me. We'll see though. I still haven't decided what I'm going to be yet. For a while I wanted to be a gladiator (any excuse to wear a cape and carry a sword) but I'm not sure if I will be able to pull it together. I found a gladiator costume at the halloween store, but...I'm broke! So I will have to make something up from scratch. I'm getting so desperate that I'm honestly contemplating just throwing a sheet over my head, cutting some eye holes out, and calling it good. It's so classic. Vintage if you will. Anyway, I'm going to Good Will with Tucker tomorrow to help him find stuff to finish his costume (Ash from Army of Darkness) so I might stumble across some useful materials of my own. We shall see!

P.S. I had to hike all over campus to get business cards from various buildings. It's a stupid assignment for Art 100, just had to get proof that we went to all of these places. I'm pooped!

Some cheap costume ideas:

Wear all black and put some nylons on your head - Bank Robber

Use your makeup to paint designs or a mask on your face a-la Drew Barrymore in "Ever After"

Cut the bottom out of an old laundry basket and wear it around your waist. Use safety pins to pin different items like socks, and things to your clothing. - Pile of Laundry

Tape red, yellow, and green circles to a black shirt. - Stoplight

Find an old large picture frame and carry it around your shoulders all night - You're a work of art

Wear all black and wrap "caution tape" all around you - not sure what you would call that (a walking disaster?) but it would probably look pretty funny.

OK, there are some fun and corny ideas from your big sis. I actually did use the stoplight one at an impromptu party we went to a few years ago. Or you could always just wear a really funny hat. That always makes people laugh.

Sarah always has good ideas! The nylons on the head always remind me of Raising Arizona. (need to carry a box of diapers also) Ha! Are there any activities on campus for Halloween? No dances? Seems like only yesterday I was taken you and Tuck trick or treaten! Miss you!

Well, I'm interested to see what you come up with. Please post pictures!

Rich says to go to whatever cheesy church activity is going on.
